Critical Information Summary

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This Critical Information Summary (CIS) describes the prepaid residential NBN broadband plans offered by inter-net on https://inter-net.au. It is intended to help you compare offers before you request availability updates or place an order.

Draft. Sections other than the plan price and speed figures below are working draft wording pending review by Australian telecommunications counsel. Confirm all non-factual statements against the current Telecommunications Consumer Protections (TCP) Code before relying on them.

Service provider

inter-net supplies retail broadband services over the NBN network. Contact us at communications@inter-net.au during Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm AEST. Our website is https://inter-net.au.

Description of the service

We offer prepaid residential internet access delivered over the National Broadband Network (NBN). Serviceability depends on the technology available at your address. An expression of interest or availability check is not an order and does not form a service contract — see our Terms of Service.

The table lists every plan currently shown on our home page. Monthly prices are prepaid in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable (confirm with counsel).

Pricing inclusions

What is included

The monthly prepaid charge for the selected plan. Standard residential use of the broadband service at the advertised maximum speeds subject to NBN and network conditions (confirm).

What is not included

Customer premises equipment beyond what we expressly supply, professional installation if required at your premises, and any third-party content or subscriptions. Draft — confirm full exclusions with counsel.

Minimum term and early termination

Our home offers are prepaid with no lock-in contract. You may cancel before the next prepaid period subject to our Terms of Service. Draft — confirm cooling-off, refund, and cease rules with counsel.

Speeds

Upload and download figures in the plans table are the maximum Layer 2 wholesale speeds associated with each plan tier. Actual speeds vary with NBN technology at your address, in-home wiring, Wi-Fi, and network congestion.

Typical busy-period speeds: confirm and publish measured figures with counsel before treating this CIS as final.

Data allowance

Draft: these plans are offered without a metered data cap, subject to a fair-use policy described in our Terms of Service (confirm).

Other fees

Draft placeholders — confirm with counsel before publication: late payment or failed payment fees (if any), equipment non-return fees (if any), and technician/appointment fees where you request an optional visit.

Customer care, complaints, and the TIO

Contact us first at communications@inter-net.au during Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm AEST. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman on 1800 062 058 or via https://www.tio.com.au.

Formal complaint-handling and financial hardship policies will be published as required under the TCP Code (confirm). Until then, email us and we will handle your matter under our internal drafts.

Important other information

Broadband service is not a substitute for fixed-line voice access to Triple Zero unless we expressly supply a voice product that supports emergency calls (confirm scope with counsel and our wholesale aggregator).

Privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy. Governing law and consumer guarantees are summarised in our Terms of Service.
